Full Trip Plan

Hello everyone! This post is going to be kind of boring for the majority of everyone haha... But I just fleshed out the full details of our plan to drive from Durham to Seattle. I am posting it here so we can send it to those who will be giving us accommodations along the way AND just for curious nose-y people!! Also, I'm looking for anyone's suggestions for things to see along the way, and things to do in Denver, SLC, or Eugene.

 We are still waiting on some important things like finding a home (Brad is flying out there May 2-5 to take care of that), buying a plane ticket for our cat, reserving U-Pack moving cubes, etc. However, since today was my LAST day of class I will have a lot more time very soon to get these things underway (though I am still finishing projects before graduation, blerg).

Anyway, since I know everyone is DYING with anticipation, here is our trip plan!

Day One: Mon, May 20 (Old Home to Indiana; 9 hours)

Leave Durham: 6am

Places of Interest to stop along the way: NONE

Evening Accommodations: O’Bannon Woods State Park, Indiana (booked)

Arrive Indiana: approx 4:30pm

Day Two: Tues, May 21 (Indiana to Kansas; 8.5 hours)

Leave Indiana: 8am

Places of Interest to stop along the way:

  - St. Louis (lunch? - Frida’s Deli @ 622 North and South Road, University City, MO)

  - Kansas City (dinner? - Takeout from FuD @ 813 W. 17th St., Kansas City, MO)

Evening Accommodations: Clinton State Park, Kansas (booked)

Arrive Kansas: approx 5pm

Day Three: Wed, May 22 (Kansas to Colorado; 8 hours)

Leave Kansas: 9am

Places of Interest to Stop along the way: NONE

Evening Accommodations: Colin’s place

Arrive Denver: approx 6pm

Day Four: Thurs, May 23 (Explore Denver)

To do: Go for a hike somewhere, see downtown Denver

Day Five: Fri, May 24 (Denver to Utah; 8 hours)

Leave Denver: 8am

Places of interest to stop along the way: NONE

Evening Accommodations: Brad's Mom’s house

Arrive Utah: approx 4pm

Day Six: Sat, May 25 (Hang out in SLC)

To do: Go hiking!

Day Seven: Sun, May 26 (Utah to Eugene; 13 hours)

Leave Utah: 6am

Places of interest to stop along the way: Boise (lunch from Boise Fry Company @ 3083 S. Bown Way Boise, ID 83706)

Evening Accommodations: Patrick’s apartment

Arrive Utah: approx 7pm

Day Eight: Mon, May 27 (Explore Eugene)

To do: play with Misty!!!!

Day Nine: Tues, May 28 (Eugene to SEATTLE! 5 hours)

Leave Eugene: 7am

Places of interest to stop along the way: NONE, must get there

Evening Accommodations: Our place!

Arrive Washington: 12 pm
